Course description

This course is designed to impart a detailed understanding of alternative accounting principles and practices, their effects on balance sheet valuation and income statements, including critical evaluation of these alternatives. Subjects covered include business combinations, accounting for inter-corporate investments, inter-company transactions, foreign currency transactions, financial instruments, deferred taxation and other current issues in accounting.
