Applied Statistics in Business (BSRM702)

Course description

This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills that allow them to handle and analyse different types of data pertinent to a variety of empirical problems in business and social science. The emphasis will be on the practical issues relating to data analysis and modeling rather than on statistical theory. The overriding objective will be to ensure that the students are confident in data analysis and that they learn how to build and run their own models.
