This course introduces students to climate change, both within cities and globally, through a predominant STS perspective. Through in-class seminars incorporating digital platforms and field trips, students will examine the basic science underpinning present knowledge of climate change; explore the impacts of rising temperatures, changing rainfall patterns, and rising sea levels on society; and discuss the role of technology and its management towards climate change adaptation and mitigation ...
