Empirical Economics (ECON249)

Course description

This course is designed to equip students with practical knowledge for analysing micro data. We will cover essential concepts for causal inference and widely-used econometric tools such as linear regression, matching, instrumental variable regression, difference-in-difference, regression discontinuity design. Students will also learn to use Stata software for data management and analysis.
