Maritime Economics (ECON660)

Course description

Maritime Transport is one of the most Globalised Industries in the world. It is also the major facilitator of World Trade. Approximately 90% of goods traded worldwide per annum in terms of volume and 85% in terms of value are carried onboard ships. This course aims to provide students with a thorough understanding of major economic principles and concepts through real life applications/examples and analysis of the bulk shipping markets.
