Labour Economics (ECON712)

Course description

This course provides an overview of major topics in labour economics, including labour supply, human capital, and inequality. Throughout the course, we consider life-cycle models of consumption, labour supply, and human capital accumulation, study structural methods as well as policy evaluation methods in empirical microeconomics, review relevant empirical evidence, and discuss implications for public policies.
