At its core, this is a question about research design, particularly reviewing the literature, formulating questions, hypothesis testing, data collection, and data analysis. This course will provide a brief introduction to all the major social science research methods, particularly experiments, quasi-experiments (observational), surveys, fieldwork/ethnography, and use of historical/documentary sources....
