Course description

This course delves into research and survey papers in graph mining, social network mining and social information retrieval, with an emphasis on system and application issues. Topics to be covered include graph and network databases, graph mining, social network analysis, link prediction, community detection, and social behavior mining. The course is intended to prepare graduate students for research in data mining, information retrieval or text mining.
