Building on LAW103 Criminal Law, this course aims to familiarise students with the entire criminal process and its stakeholders, from the exercise of prosecutorial discretion to the sentencing of an accused person. The subsequent appeal process will also be examined. Where possible, the more important evidential rules that apply to criminal cases will be reviewed.
